About LEADS
LEADS is a Non-profit, sectarian, Non-political voluntary service organization with the clear Vision and Mission to achieve the holistic development of most oppressed communities, Children, Injecting Drug Users(IDUs) and women in Vijaywada and Nuzvid Divisions of Krishna Dt., A.P., India.
FOUNDER
LEADS is founded by Mr.I.Nagendra Rao, an advocate in the year 1996. As the former Assistant Govt.pleader and Addl. Public Prosecuter, Mr. Rao has been rendering remarkable services to the poor and needy.
His many years of experience has gained him expertise in the following social service and development activities:
- Preventive health care and education
- Nutritious in-center and home-delivered dry ration
- Crisis intervention, support groups, and case management
- Legal aid and counseling
- Employment training and information
- Transportation, leisure activities, recreation
- Volunteerism/placement, social services and referral information.
Our Vision
Our vision is to visualize Liberating the Poorest of the poor communities from Oppression, Exploitation Social and Economical, Injustice, Bondage and Inequality through developmental activities of target groups.
Our Mission
LEADS works to transform the lives of Oppressed and Depressed communities who are caught in the web of Socio-Economic & Cultural issues and problems, denial of Livelihood Rights and empowering them through Sustainable Developmental plans by placing peoples development in peoples hands with their fullest participation.
